Giulia Neri
Interim Director - Climate Interventions
Giulia leads the Public Affairs work of the Climate Interventions programme.
Giulia focuses on engagement and creating spaces for discussion. She is driven by the need to build a critical mass of actors willing to engage thoughtfully on the issue.
Giulia has worked in European public affairs on climate and environmental policy for the past seven years. As Head of Policy at The Good Lobby, she supported civil society organisations in navigating the complexities of EU decision-making. Previously, as a senior consultant at a public affairs consultancy and during her time at the European Parliament, she worked on the revision of EU energy policy.
Her Master’s degree in Law, with a specialisation in European and comparative law (University of Trento, Lancaster University), allows her to cut through legislative complexity.
In 2026, Giulia is leading the work of the Climate Intervention Team as Interim Director, replacing Matthias.
