Ashley Noriega
Senior Biotechnology Officer - Policy
Ashley explores emerging biotechnologies, uncovering how they could shape our future and turning insights into real-world recommendations for policymakers across health, innovation and defence.
Before joining CFG, she spent several years working in Whitehall, advising ministers on genomics, bioethics and public health policy. Her work spanned domestic and global contexts, and she led major reforms that reshaped health policy through landmark legislation.
Ashley knows pandemics, too. As well as being involved in the UK’s preparedness efforts at home and abroad, she worked in the COVID-19 Taskforce, leading teams to use innovative policy tools to keep England’s health system steady during the pandemic.
She has a Master in Public Affairs from Sciences Po Paris and a Bachelor’s in International Relations from the University of Westminster.
