Welcoming the October 2025 intake of Talos Fellows

As part of the Centre for Future Generations’ ongoing relationship with the Talos Network, we are proud to announce three new Talos Fellows are coming on board to support our efforts:

  • Thomas van Damme. Thomas joins our Tech Foresight team where he will work on expanding our AI scenario work. He brings research experience from his FIG Fellowship and the University of Antwerp, where he measured resilience to misinformation and foreign information manipulation.
  • Jonathan Jacqueminet. Jonathan is also joining the Advanced AI team, where he will bring his background in economics and public policy to our AI policy research and outreach efforts.
  • Zoe Kratira. Zoe will be joining the Advanced AI team, she comes with a technical background in Machine Learning and  will contribute to our research on the intersection of AI safety and EU policy.

The Talos Fellowship is the flagship programme of the Talos Network, aimed at launching and accelerating European policy careers focused on artificial intelligence. At the core of the programme is a focus on ensuring the safe and responsible deployment of advanced artificial intelligence and related technologies.

It involves three components: an online reading group, a Brussels-based summit including hands-on workshops and training with experts working in the policy ecosystem, and a placement programme with participating organisations – including CFG. Placements last between four and six months and are funded by the Talos Network.

Since 2022, the Talos Fellowship has supported a network of exceptional policy professionals working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and European governance. You can learn more about the Talos Fellowship here and see the full alumni network here.
