Phoebe Kwan

Phoebe is Chief of Staff at the Centre for Future Generations, a role blending strategic planning with operational execution. She works across the organization to make sure CFG operates with the rigour its mission demands, and the strategic clarity to keep its vision on track.

She brings an unusual mix of backgrounds: during her previous foreign service career, she became an expert in state protocol, a field she describes as “very serious events work with a lot more pomp and circumstance”. Besides having organised countless visits and events for Heads of State, Heads of Government and other dignitaries, her years in the diplomatic service also shaped her ability to navigate rooms where consequential conversations happen. Most recently, she led CFG’s events, creating impactful platforms for ideas and engagements.

Phoebe holds a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences, with a focus on digital media and society, from KU Leuven in Belgium, and a Bachelor’s in Social Sciences from Singapore.
