Marius leads the team examining how emerging technologies and global political trends shape governance, security, competitiveness, and risk, focusing on the EU’s policies, investments, and international cooperation
Marius drives CFG’s project on Innovating to Protect Europe’s future in the intersection between tech policy and defensive tech acceleration.
Marius has formerly worked as a consultant at McKinsey and in quantitative trading.
Additionally, he has published on AI/ML in top journals such as International Conference of Machine Learning on topics aligned with Mechanistic Interpretability, during his research stay in the Poggio lab at MIT.
In line with his background, he is happy to discuss technical and non-technical topics in Advanced AI, emerging technologies & risks, as well as topics in defensive acceleration.
Marius’ educational background is in Applied Physics and Mathematics focused on computer science and AI. In 2021 Marius was awarded the Fulbright Fellowship to continue his scholarly work and research at MIT and to complete his degree at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
