Abbi works on the Tech and the Brain project, exploring the intersection of AI and mental health. She focuses on bridging mental health theory with emerging technologies, bringing critical ethical and legal perspectives to ensure responsible innovation in this rapidly evolving field.

After graduating from King’s College London with a degree in Mental Health, Ethics and Law, Abbi focuses on the intersection of AI, mental health, and ethics from a sociological perspective. Her academic work examined AI in psychiatry, arguing against blanket prohibitions and advocating for responsible integration based on ethical, legal, and clinical evidence.

At CFG, Abbi explores how emerging technologies will transform mental health care and human wellbeing. Through the Tech and the Brain project, she’s expanding her research into neurotechnologies, working to bridge technological innovation with ethical governance to ensure these powerful tools serve humanity’s broader flourishing.
