Namita Kambli
Senior Governance Analyst
Namita applies a social and environmental lens to the governance of emerging technologies. Her goal is to ensure both people and the planet have a fair shot in decision-making – now and in the future.
As a Senior Analyst, Namita’s role is to join the dots – and people – between the social, environmental, and policy dimensions of emerging tech governance.
Before CFG, Namita led E3G’s work on the social dimension of the European Green Deal. Essentially, she forged strong and inspiring alliances with civil society, academia, and the EU institutions to collectively show how social justice and climate action can go hand-in-hand.
While at the Democatic Society, Namita dove headfirst into researching, designing, and delivering creative participatory processes, like Citizens’ Assemblies, for local and national governments on an exciting range of topics, from climate to AI.
Namita has a PhD in Urban Design from the University of Auckland and has has written and spoken widely on just transition and inclusive governance. She is eager to bring emerging tech into this nexus, driven by her passion for shaping a future that is fairer, greener, and far less polarised.
