Cressida Pollock

Cressida advises CFG on strategic approaches to tackling climate change and fostering sustainable economic systems, drawing on her experience in philanthropy, business, and leadership.

Cressida Pollock is a purpose-driven leader with extensive experience implementing transformations across organisations and systems. Her work spans advising companies, governments, and NGOs on strategic challenges and complex transitions.

Currently, Cressida focuses on deploying philanthropic and commercial capital to address climate change and build sustainable economic systems.

She previously led Quadrature Climate Foundation through its first three years, establishing it as a leading climate philanthropy with over $500 million in granting commitments. Before that, she served as Chief Executive of English National Opera, leading its turnaround from 2015 to 2018. Her earlier career includes roles at McKinsey and as a founding member of Somerset Capital Management.

Cressida is a board member for the International Rescue Committee UK and the Climate Breakthrough Project and serves on the advisory board of the Smith School of Enterprise and Environment. She holds an undergraduate degree from Cambridge and an MBA from MIT.
