Senior Policy Engagement Manager (International) - Climate Interventions

Anita will lead CFG’s international policy engagement with a focus on amplifying the perspectives of the global majority.

Anita is an international development professional with extensive experience driving strategic impact across private, intergovernmental, and non-profit sectors. Her expertise spans knowledge management, monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), communications, and programme management, with a strong focus on translating complex evidence into meaningful policy engagement.

Over the past seven years, Anita has specialised in advancing effective, inclusive governance of solar geoengineering and other climate interventions. She has worked across diverse stakeholder groups and multiple levels of governance to strengthen understanding, preparedness, and dialogue. Anita has played a pivotal role in bridging the science to policy interface, designing and leading targeted engagement strategies that ensure Global South perspectives substantively shape research agendas and emerging governance processes.

She brings particular expertise in convening cross-regional actors, fostering equitable participation, and embedding learning into policy processes to improve long-term decision-making capacity.
Anita holds a Master’s degree in Global Health and Development from University College London, a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations. She is driven by a deep commitment to reducing human suffering and views global warming as one of the defining threats to livelihoods and development in the 21st century.

She enjoys time travelling with her family.
