Zoe Tzifa-Kratira

Advanced AI Researcher

Brussels

Zoe joined CFG as a Talos Fellow. Her work focuses on translating technical AIS research advances into actionable policy recommendations, by combining academic rigor, stakeholder mapping, political realities and tech landscapes.

Zoe holds a BSc in AI with a minor in Philosophy from the University of Groningen, and a MSc in AI from the University of Amsterdam, focused on Machine Learning and Deep Learning. Her thesis was on Developmental Interpretability and Adversarial Robustness.

Her interest in ensuring a transition to AGI which is safe and beneficial for humanity has led her to work on this challenge from multiple fronts of impact: academic research in Interpretability and Detecting Model Deception; field building for the AIS Initiatives in Groningen and Amsterdam; and EU AI policy, specialising on how EU can use its regulatory advantage to foster innovation and adoption of AI in industry and academia, always with a citizen-first approach.
